Adam Rodman, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a practicing internist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His research focuses on clinical reasoning, human-AI collaboration, and the safe integration of artificial intelligence into clinical care. He leads studies examining how increasingly capable AI systems perform alongside physicians, affect clinical decision-making, and can be incorporated into care while preserving judgment, accountability, and the physician-patient relationship. His work has appeared in Science, The Lancet, JAMA, Nature, and the New England Journal of Medicine. He has also served as a visiting researcher at Google DeepMind and is a 2026 National Academy of Medicine Scholar in Diagnostic Excellence.
